ÂŁ150 Cash Prize | All Profits Go to Omar's Family
We’re launching this raffle in support of Omar Gomez, a brave 17-year-old footballer from Llanrumney United who is currently facing one of the toughest battles of his life.
During his final Youth League game last week, Omar suffered a catastrophic injury—a double leg break (tibia and fibula), along with a serious and rare complication known as Compartment Syndrome, which causes severe muscle damage and can have devastating long-term effects.
Omar has already undergone five surgeries, but so far they have been unsuccessful in fully repairing the damage. Today, he’s being transferred to a specialist unit in Swansea, where further surgeries and intensive treatment await.
This is a life-changing moment for Omar and his family. He’s not only fighting to walk again—but to rebuild a future that was full of promise, talent, and passion for football.
As a local competition platform, we want to stand with Omar and give back in the best way we can. We're running a raffle with a £150 cash prize, and every penny of profit will go directly to Omar’s family to help support them through this heartbreaking time.
